Chelsea
The brief called for the renovation of a Grade 2* listed Queen Anne house in one of Chelsea's most coveted areas. The design intent was to recuperate as many of the original features as possible, whilst creating an inviting and light space for the family's life. An oversized conservatory built in the '80s occupying a big portion of the garden was demolished. It was replaced by a much smaller breakfast room discretely extending the closet wing. Floor-to-ceiling "original" panelling, turned out to be 80's MDF pastiche and were also removed to give space to simple painted wall surfaces.
